Risk Acceptance Agreements

Pella Technology Services recommends several security best practices designed to protect business networks, sensitive information, and client systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats. In some situations, a client may request that recommended protections not be implemented.

When a client chooses to operate outside of recommended security standards, a written acknowledgement of the associated risks is required. The forms below allow authorized representatives to review and electronically sign the appropriate acknowledgement agreements.

Available Risk Acceptance Agreements

Computer Authentication Risk Acceptance
This agreement applies when a computer is requested to operate without password or authentication protection.

Multi-Factor Authentication Risk Acceptance (coming soon)
This agreement applies when a client elects not to implement multi-factor authentication on supported services or accounts.

Local Administrator Privilege Risk Acceptance (coming soon)
This agreement applies when a user account is requested to retain local administrator privileges on a workstation.

Unsupported Operating System Risk Acceptance (coming soon)
This agreement applies when systems are requested to remain in operation after the operating system is no longer supported with security updates.

Backup Protection Risk Acceptance (coming soon)
This agreement applies when a client elects not to implement recommended backup protections for critical systems or data.
