Risk Acceptance Agreements

Pella Technology Services recommends several security best practices designed to protect business networks, sensitive information, and client systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats. In some situations, a client may request that recommended protections not be implemented.

When a client chooses to operate outside of recommended security standards, a written acknowledgement of the associated risks is required. The forms below allow authorized representatives to review and electronically sign the appropriate acknowledgement agreements.

Computer Authentication Risk Acceptance
This agreement applies when a computer is requested to operate without password or authentication protection.

Tenant Hardening
Protecting your Microsoft 365 environment is critical to reducing the risk of unauthorized access, data loss, and business disruption. Pella Technology Services offers recommended security protections designed to strengthen your tenant and provide additional layers of defense against evolving cyber threats.
While these protections significantly improve your security posture, no system can guarantee complete protection. Clients may choose to implement these protections or decline them and assume responsibility for managing associated risks.

Antivirus Protection Options
Protecting your devices with antivirus software is an important step in reducing the risk of malware, ransomware, unauthorized access, and system compromise. Pella Technology Services offers recommended antivirus solutions designed to provide a foundational layer of protection for individual devices within your environment.
While antivirus software can help reduce risk, it does not guarantee complete protection. Clients may choose to implement antivirus protection or decline it and assume responsibility for managing the associated risks. Antivirus services do not include monitoring, alert review, or remediation unless separately agreed to in writing.
