Computer Authentication Risk Acceptance Agreement

Pella Technology Services recommends authentication protection on all computers used within a business environment. Authentication controls such as passwords or PINs are a fundamental security measure that help protect business systems, sensitive information, and network resources from unauthorized access.

If your organization has requested that a computer operate without password protection, the following risk acknowledgement must be reviewed and signed by an authorized representative before this configuration can be implemented.

This agreement applies only to non-managed or break-fix environments and does not modify the security requirements outlined in any existing Managed Services Agreement with Pella Technology Services.

Security Notice

Computers that operate without authentication protection may expose the entire network environment to security risks. An unsecured device may allow unauthorized access to other workstations, servers, network devices, or cloud services connected to the same network.
